Melt duration function

Hallo,
I am recent user of COMSOL. I use the Heat Transfer module to know the Temperature distribution in a piece irradiated with a laser pulse.
I´d like to generate a function to know how much time the temperature of a certain point or domain of the piece keeps over the melting point of the material. Could anybody give me some help about this issue?
