Dear Users,
I am trying to calculate the extinction cross section of a silver nanosphere as an example in comsol 4.2. I did this before in v3.5a but here i am facing some problems. For the Extinction cross section i need to find absorption cross section and scattering cross section. i.e.
Cext = Csct + Cabs.
I don't know how to find scattering and absorption cross section. Please someone who has done this in v4.2 guide me.
Thanks,
Best Regards,
Adnan
