what is the role of the stationary phase in study 2 in the example inductor_in_circuit?

Hi

Have you read the PDF doc of the model ?
It's explained at the bottom of p4, it is essentially there to give a good initial values for the time series to be in a steady state condition, to avoid initial transient ringing
