variation of effective index with lambda

Hi everyone !
I want to plot the variation of effective index with lambda in COMSOL 4.3.151.First i think I have to define freq=c_const/lambda in parametric section.But after that what I have to put in mode analysis frequency in mode analysis frequency node.Is parametric sweep is needed.Please elaborate in slight detail .Thank you very much.
