I think this new forum is a great idea. I would assume that the existing "forum" on the Yahoo groups is to be replaced with this forum ? I certainly like the format and functionality of this new forum much better.

There are already a few COMSOL discussion groups out there hosted by Yahoo, Google and others. We don't intend to replace any of those. However, in this COMSOL hosted forum we are committed to provide services that we believe would be valuable to the community. The Model Exchange is one example.
