Why is there no turbulent viscosity term in the heat transfer equation?

Hi I'm new to cfd modeling. I'm trying to set up a conjugate heat transfer problem with k-e turbulence model. I understand that k-e model is derived by time averaging the Navier-Stokes equation. Hence, in order to solve for heat transfer in the fluids, the heat transfer equation should also be time averaged. Time averaging of the heat transfer equation will introduce an addition turbulent viscosity term in the heat transfer equation. However, from comsol heat transfer module, I do not see the turbulent viscosity term in the governing equation.
May I check is it that the heat transfer module assumes turbulent viscosity to be negligible or is my understanding incorrect? Or has this term been captured somewhere? Thanks!
