Calculation of an Volume Surrounded by an Isothermal Surface

I am simulating melting of a metal around a heat source. I assume that my fluid is stationary so that I don't need to include fluid flow in my model. To get the volume of melted part I need to calculate volume surrounded by the surface with melting temperature in all my time steps.
I would appreciate if somebody can give me a hint.
