Did you try a line plot along this edge and plot the deformation w or w+z along the line?

Hello Edgar,
thanks for the fast reply. Yes I used a line plot in a 1d-plot group to plot the displacement w, which works so far. But I have to mention, that the outer edge is not a straight line but it is curved (crowned). So in fact I need to plot the position of a curved outer edge/line in pristine and deformed state.

Hi Edgar,
let me summarize:
at:
Edge-3D & Study1:
- at z+w(x or arc length), Error caused by w (see picture attached)
- at z, pristine outer edge contour (crowning) is plotted --> correct values
Cut Line 3D:
- at w, displacement of the cut line --> plausible
- at z, pristine position of cut line --> plausible
- at w+z, --> correct calculation
Sure, from that results it would be possible to calculate the resulting real contour, howsoever.
But why do I always get pristine values for z, for all data sets? How can I obtain deformed position values?
Thanks, Sven
