Nano-scale Wire Bonding

I was hoping someone would be able to provide some help, or shed some light on the situation.
I have been trying to simulate a wire-bonding process for a nano-scale transistor. Unfortunately I have been having some issues due to the fact that COMSOL wasn't designed to handle nano-scale systems.
Has anyone tried to do something similar? Or has any recommendations on how to approach the problem?
